Entrance Requirement
Applicants are expected to meet the following conditions before admission to study for any of the School’s post-graduate degrees or diplomas.

Academic Qualifications
The applicant must have earned a recognised first degree.  "Recognized" means that the degree should be awarded by an institution that is recognized by a national government, an internationally recognized accrediting agency or by the Accrediting Council for Theological Education in Africa (ACTEA).

The applicant should have a minimum grade point average (G.P.A.) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or at least a second class honours upper division.  An applicant with a G. P.A. of less than 3.0 but equal or above 2.5 or a second class honours, lower division may be considered for admission provided he/she has demonstrated above average personal, social and spiritual maturity; leadership ability; and ministry experience.  However, such a student will be placed under academic probation during the first semester of study.  At the end of the probationary semester, the student’s G.P.A. must be 2.5 or higher or he/she will be dismissed from School on academic grounds.

Spiritual Qualification
The applicant must have a personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and this shall be evaluated on the basis of the applicant’s written testimony and the references of others.  Furthermore, the applicant must be able to demonstrate, through his or her written testimony and the references of others, a life of personal integrity, of faith in God and a growing relationship with God.

Christian Ministry and Leadership Qualifications
It is required that the applicant have experience in Christian ministry.  This can be professional or lay ministry in the church, school and community.  Furthermore, the applicant must show how his or her post-graduate study at the School would benefit the Church or the Christian community.

Before commencing studies every student shall be required to affirm an unreserved acceptance of basic Christian doctrines by signing the School’s Doctrinal Affirmation Form as it is in the Statutes.

English Proficiency
The applicant is required to have the capability to write, speak and understand English that can make qualitative learning at the graduate level possible.  Where sufficient evidence of English proficiency is not provided an applicant will be required to take an English proficiency test.  If the results of test are not satisfactory the applicant will be required to improve English proficiency to an acceptable level.
