The Allendorf Memorial Library’s print and electronic media resources are stocked to meet the curricula and research requirements of NIST students as well as the greater Nairobi Christian community. The library contains close to 25,000 books, 800 microforms, 3,800 audio tapes, 160 video tapes and CD-ROM’s. The holdings are searchable using a computerized public access catalogue. The library is open on weekdays, 7:30 a.m to 9:00 p.m, and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m.
In order to advance the capability of the library to meet the academic needs of students, NIST has cooperative agreements with the libraries of Daystar University, the Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology, Scott Theological College, the East African School of Theology, Pan Africa Christian College, Baptist Theological Seminary and the Nazarene University, Nairobi.
