FM530: Evangelism and Discipleship

The purpose of Evangelism and Discipleship is to provide the biblical basis, philosophy, strategies and methods in evangelism and discipleship and training in the effective use of related tools.  It is required for all FM courses.

FM531:  Evangelism and Follow-up

The purpose of Evangelism and Follow-Up is to provide practical Field Ministry experience in broad-based evangelism and follow up and in the use of related tools as taught in FM530.  The student should also apply concepts related to evangelism and follow-up learned in other classes at NIST.

FM532: Target Evangelism

The purpose of Target Evangelism is to provide practical Field Ministry experience in evangelism and follow-up while targeting specialized groups (Hindus, Muslims, Professionals, Prisoners etc.) and in the use of related tools as taught in FM530.  The student should also apply concepts related to evangelism and follow-up learned in other classes at NIST.

FM533: Field Ministry Internship

The purpose of Field Ministry Internship is to provide an opportunity for the student to apply what he/she has learned in the first year in an intensive practical field-oriental learning experience in ministry.  This internship is taken after the student has completed his/her first year of course work or thirty (30) semester hours.

FM631:  Multiplying Discipleship

The purpose of Multiplying Discipleship is to provide practical Field Ministry experience in leading discipleship groups and multiplying discipleship groups using related tools taught in FM530.  The student should also apply concepts related to discipleship learned in other classes at NIST.

FM731:  Applied Integrated Theology

The purpose of Applied Integrated Theology is to provide practical Field Ministry experience in applying to the Field Ministry principles and practices learned at NIST in FM530 and all other classes at NIST.  The integration of class learning with Field Ministry may be applied through church planting or in conducting seminars and workshops for pastors and/or leaders or any relevant applied integrated theology ministry plan.  The student should integrate and apply concepts learned in all classes at NIST and be creative in applying those concepts to the various needs in the field.
