Students are responsible for securing their own funding to pay for their studies at NIST.  This involves housing, living expenses, tuition, books, and other NIST fees.  Once a person has received official acceptance by the school he/she will be sent a Financial Assistance Application Form.  This must be completed and returned to the school if the person wishes to be considered for financial aid from NIST.

A student selected to receive financial aid from NIST will still be responsible for raising his/her fees.  NIST does not fully sponsor any student.  Students are supposed to pay all fees due before enrolling for classes.

Fees and Expenses

The following charges have been established for the 2006/2007 academic year.  The fees represent a subsidized amount of the actual cost of providing quality, training at NIST.  All amounts are in Kenya shillings.  One US dollar varies from 68 - 75 Kenya shillings. Foreign currency shall be charged at the prevailing rates.
